Hailing from South Eastern North Carolina, Scott's connection to the region runs deep. An avid fisherman and lifelong boater, he embodies the spirit of coastal living. Prior to his successful career in lending, Scott served in the US Airforce during the Gulf War, displaying his commitment to duty and discipline along with 25 years in the fire service where he obtained the notable role of Fire Chief.

Personally, Scott finds joy in family life with his wife, Brandia, and their two children, Chase and Alexa. Together they share a love for exploration, often spending their free time on North Carolina's barrier islands or fishing off the Atlantic coast.
