Laura Sherrod

A fifth generation Floridian and growing up on a shipyard in Miami, Laura Sherrod was introduced to the marine industry at a very early age which led her to exploring opportunities in her familys yacht insurance business. The family business was acquired by Brown and Brown in 1995 and she was subsequently tasked with leading the newly formed Brown and Brown marine group. For over 30 years specializing in yacht placements and at Lloyds as a broker, she has built an extensive global network of partners that give her the ability to assist clients in structuring customized coverages for their vessels.
