Stewart is a native North Carolinian and has been an avid boater for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill he started his business career with Wachovia Bank in Durham, NC. After several years in banking he got into real estate where he became president of Allenton Residential with eight offices and over 250 sales people. During his time at Allenton he served as Chairman of the Multiple Listing Service, President of the Durham Board of Realtors and was named Realtor of the Year. In addition he served in various capacities with the North Carolina Association of Realtors. After selling his company in 1988 he moved to Morehead City, NC where he got involved in marine lending.
Stewart specializes in marine financing for North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
